This Indo-Portuguese country home in Vagator, Goa had been lovingly designed by Define Studio-the villa is part of a gated community, Aqua de Montana. The site has beautiful old coconut trees and a lovely view of the Chapora fort. Staying real to the context the design blends traditional elements with the natural beauty of its surroundings. It spans over two floors in a 3000 square foot area.
Beautiful arched passageways take you to the 3 bedrooms, lawns and pool. the huge openings in the living spaces and bedrooms open out into the tropical gardens. When you walk into the villa, you see rustic tandoor floors, tall white-washed walls, and distressed finished wood injected with printed colourful tiles and vibrant textiles to bring pops of colour. We have created a space where you instantly feel at home and it transports you to the Goan countryside back in time.
